Due to a temporary system problem and a lot of the applicants missing their signatures on Form G-28 for H-1B registrations, USCIS decided to extend the H1B lottery 2025 registration to March 25, 2024. Don't miss out!
USCIS has extended the initial registration period for the FY 2025 H-1B cap due to a temporary system outage that affected some registrants. This extension from the original schedule is aimed at providing all prospective petitioners adequate time to complete their registration process amidst the technical difficulties encountered. To accommodate the impact of this outage and ensure fairness, the registration window, originally set from March 6 to March 22, 2024, will now remain open until March 25, 2024.
Despite the extension of the registration period, USCIS maintains its commitment to notifying selected registrants by March 31, 2024. To participate in the extended registration period, prospective petitioners and their legal representatives (and your employers), if applicable, are required to:
Additionally, USCIS introduced new myUSCIS organizational accounts on February 28, 2024. These accounts are designed to facilitate collaboration on H-1B registrations, petitions, and any associated Form I-907 for Premium Processing Service among multiple individuals within an organization and their legal representatives. A new organizational account is now necessary to engage in the H-1B Electronic Registration Process.
