CPT Policies at Monroe University (ex-Monroe College)

The phrase "Day 1 CPT Universities" lacks official recognition and generally denotes universities that permit students to seek Curricular Practical Training (CPT) from the start of their first semester. Nonetheless, securing CPT authorization on the first day of the program is not a certainty and hinges on the prompt submission and thoroughness of the application materials. Ordinarily, it takes 5 to 15 business days to obtain CPT approval once the documents have been received.

CPT Policies

The scholarship will be given in the form of a tuition deduction and evenly distributed throughout the program. If you quit before the program ends, you can’t get the rest of scholarship, but you also don’t need to pay the pervious part back.

Class Format & On-Site Requirement

The CPT courses will be set up in a hybrid format. Monroe requires the students to go to on-site classes one time per month.

Vacation Policy

Monroe gives students a choice to take a semester off after their 3 consecutive semesters. You will be able to extend your degree legally to utilize your working experience.
