Harrisburg Application Material Checklist

Go through the Application Material Checklist Before Starting Your Application.

Completed Application Form:

DocuSign application form was sent to your email by the school.
Personal Statement

At least 1 page or around 200 words in length.
Degree Certificates and Transcripts

Include official transcripts for all educational degrees. Transcripts from institutions outside the U.S. should be evaluated by WES or ECE. Official transcripts must be sent directly from the issuing institution to GradTranscripts@HarrisburgU.edu. Alternatively, sealed official copies can be mailed to the Admissions Office at 326 Market Street, Harrisburg, PA 17101.
Two Recent Letters of Recommendation
- The letters should come from current or former employers or professors.

Complete and Updated Resume
Proof of English Proficiency
- IELTS (6.0)
- TOEFL (80)
- Duolingo (105)
- This requirement is waived if you have successfully completed a full semester of graduate study at a regionally accredited U.S. institution with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Passport For Transfer F1 students,
- In addition to the passport, a photocopy of the visa, the most recent I-20, and I-94 are also required.
Proof of Financial Support
- A bank statement showing a balance of $27,040 (tuition: $16,440, living expenses: $10,600) is required.
- If the bank statement is not in your name, you will need to complete a sponsor form. Applicants with dependents must provide an additional $5,000 of financial support for their spouse and $2,500 for each child.

For Transfer F1 students, SEVIS transfer to the new school must be completed one day before the start of the semester; otherwise, admission will be deferred to the next semester.
