Day 1 CPT Policy

- Renew CPT requires a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 and no prior failures in INT593 internship courses; any dissatisfaction with the foregoing will result in downgrading from full-time to part-time or disqualification from the internship.
- Regardless of whether the internship is part-time or full-time, the total length of the internship must not exceed 9 credit hours (3 Full-time CPT or 9 Part-time CPT) during the period of study.
- The day 1 CPT internship program must be related to the studentβs subject of study and must be supported by an employment agreement from the internship company, with no more than one employer at any one time.
- During the period of internship, you must complete the INT593 course requirements: submit an internship description prior to the start date of the class; submit a midterm internship report; submit a final internship summary at the end of the semester; and submit a final evaluation form at the end of the internship.
